Slow Cooker Cherry Delight

"A rich slow cooker recipe that can be modified to your taste. You can use strawberry filling with chocolate cake mix or whatever you like, just keep the ratio the same and you will have an easy set and forget dessert. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired."

Ingredients :

• 2 (21 ounce) cans cherry pie filling
• 1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions :

Prep : 10M	Cook : 8M	Ready in : 3H10M

• Pour cherry pie filling into a 2-quart slow cooker.
• Mix yellow cake mix and butter together in a bowl. Spread over pie filling in the slow cooker.
• Cook on Low until tender and bubbly, 3 to 4 hours.

Notes :

• I suggest using a smaller slow cooker (2-quart) due to the limited amount of liquid. You can also cook on High for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
