"These are cinnamon and date cookies easily made from a cake mix. They've got a good cinnamon flavor and the dates provide just the right amount of extra sweetness, without making the cookie super-sweet. Chopped walnuts can be added for that extra nutty flavor."

Ingredients :

• cooking spray
• 1 (21.5 ounce) package cinnamon swirl cake mix (with cinnamon flavoring packet)
• 1 cup chopped dried dates
• 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
• 1/2 cup egg white substitute
• 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions :

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
• Mix cinnamon cake mix, flavoring packet, dates, walnuts, egg white substitute, and olive oil together in a large bowl.
• Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of cake mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
• Bake in the preheated oven until bottoms start to brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet, about 10 minutes.
