"I was a little disappointed when I couldn't find any recipes for amberjack, so I made up my own and thought I would share! Very quick and simple."
Ingredients :
- 1 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons Creole seasoning (such as Tony Chachere's®)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 (3 ounce) fillets amberjack
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions :

- Mix bread crumbs, Creole seasoning, and Parmesan cheese together in a shallow bowl.
- Brush amberjack fillets with butter; dip into the bread crumb mixture to coat.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add coated amberjack; cook until topping is browned and flesh flake easily with a fork, about 5 minutes per side.
Notes :
- Substitute unseasoned bread crumbs for the Italian-seasoned bread crumbs if preferred.
